The Goozex API is a set of publicly available API (Application Program Interface) methods that allow accessing the Goozex system from external applications. Each API method performs a specific function and provides a reply in a specific formats, normally XML/RSS. Some API commands return results in Javascript (suitable for posting on webpages) and others redirect to a specific web page on Goozex.com (useful for web integration). They are REST-like commands accessible over HTTP through a remote URL.

Gtk# is considered the "native" GUI toolkit that ships with the Mono platform. Gtk# is a managed wrapper around a Linux-centric API named Gtk+. Gtk+ is a toolkit originally created to build the popular image processing application GIMP (the GNU Image Manipulation Program). Gtk# consists of a set of .NET assemblies deployed to the Mono Global Assembly Cache. These assemblies allow you to manage image and text-rendering capabilities as you would in a native .NET application but deployed on Mono so that the applications can be run on Linux, Unix, or Mac in addition to Windows.

    This Web service compares two images and calculates the distance between them using CBIR (content–based image retrieval). CBIR is a way to index images or find a similarity between images.
    The Web service transforms an image into its frequency domain. The process involves three steps: 1) Load each image and store them; 2) Generate their signature using Fourier Transform (the images must have same size and same colour (grayscale transformation)); and 3) Compare their signature using Euclidean distance. The closer the distance is to zero, the more similar are the images (0 means the images are identical).
